I love to cook - especially ethnic dishes, and from scratch/my pantry. I love foods that combine surprising tastes and textures, and my interests are fairly eclectic. I'm excited to have a site to direct people to when they ask for my recipes!

Favorite Pie Crust
5 c. flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. white vinegar
1 egg
1 t. salt
2 1/2 c. Crisco (vegetable shortening)(not butter flavored)
1 c. water
Mix dry ingredients together.
Cut in shortening until medium coarse.
Place vinegar into measuring cup and fill with water.
Mix egg into water and vinegar mixture.
Yield: Approximately 4-5 pie crusts.
Use as needed and freeze remainder.
