This is another recipe that works great in the crock pot and is great for a winter day. Thanks to my friend Heidi for sharing this several years ago - I love the twist. 3 diced chicken breasts
1 diced onion
1 chopped clove of garlic
1 can chicken broth
3 cans great northern white beans
1 can garbanzo (chick peas) beans
3 cans chopped green chilies or jalapeños
Cumin and oregano - to taste
16 oz. sour cream
Add all ingredients together in a large pot and simmer for 1- 1 1/2 hours. Add sour cream and heat thoroughly.
